About the event

Purpose and Vision

This Canada-wide, hybrid, multi-partner initiative seeks to engage Catholics and non-Catholics in conversations about critical contemporary issues through the lens of human dignity, solidarity, and subsidiarity.

Promoting these and other core principles of Catholic Social Teaching is central to CAPP Canada's mission. In the spirit of solidarity and subsidiarity, the initiative brings together centres of Catholic thought and other Catholic partners across the country to advance this shared mission while strengthening their own. It also invites non-Catholic partners into the conversation, building common ground in service of the common good.

Series Format and Structure

The initiative brings together partner institutions across Canada for a coordinated four-part hybrid conversation series on a common theme. Each event is hosted in person by a partner institution, with participants across the country connecting to the main event through a webinar platform, either individually or through organized gatherings at other partner locations.
