The 2026 edition of the CAPP Foundation's annual training course in Catholic Social Teaching will run from January to March 2026, focusing on the theme "From Leo XIII to Leo XIV. New challenges, renewed social commitment."
The fields of cultural, social, political and economic reflection make up a reality in constant flux. Contemporary societies today face increasingly complex challenges: from technological and bioethical transformations to environmental and economic crises, to new demands for peace, justice and universal fraternity.
The training course in Social Teaching of the Church aims to address these challenges by promoting a fruitful dialogue between academic reflection and the concrete experience of the participants. This year, for the first time, the course will be held in two locations: Rome and Milan. There will be three meetings in Rome and two in Milan, held at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. This is an important innovation, which enriches the training programme thanks to the contribution of two complementary cultural and ecclesial contexts, offering participants the opportunity to enjoy an even richer and more diverse experience.
The course is given in person in Italian but it is possible to follow the course online. More information including registration details, are available here.
