About the event
“Il sait porter la croix” is an inaugural invitational gathering of Canadian Catholic leaders who want to collaborate closely with the Holy Father to renew society using the transformative power of Catholic Social Teaching (CST).
Featuring His Excellency, Archbishop Ivan Jurkovič, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada; Domingo Sugranyes Bickel, former Chairman, Fondazione Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice; David Mulroney, Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs; Micheal Gentile, Co-Founder of Bastion Asset Management; Paul Twomey, serial entrepreneur in the legal, cybersecurity, talent and biosecurity sectors; Matthew Harvey Sanders, Founding CEO, Longbeard; and others (listed below).
We draw the name for this forum from the French lyrics of our National Anthem. All of us must know how to carry the cross of Christ in our work as Christian citizens. Doing so is essential to help renew Canada's gravely distressed social fabric.
